You can easily adapt this recipe to suit your dietary needs by changing out the regular milk for low-fat, fat-free, or your favorite milk alternative. You can also use sugar-free vanilla syrup to cut the calories even further. I love to top this drink with a sprinkle of cinnamon or cocoa powder for a finishing touch.

  • 2 teaspoons of regular or sugar-free vanilla syrup
  • 3 tablespoons of steamed milk
  • 2 tablespoons of frothed milk

Tips for making steamed/frothed milk at home:

I have an entire post on making frothed milk with the wand on an espresso machine, but it does take a bit of practice. You can also steam and froth milk in a pan on the stove using an immersion blender in a pinch. I’ve also put hot, but not boiling, milk in my Ninja personal blender and blended it to form a nice froth on top. These methods all work fine, it really just depends on what equipment you have and what you’re comfortable with.

Iced Vanilla Latte
