How to use the Mr. Coffee Steam Espresso Maker:
- To make a shot of espresso, start by filling your carafe with the desired amount of water for the number of shots of espresso you want to make.
- Pour the water into the water reservoir and screw on the reservoir cap.
- Add your favorite espresso grind coffee to the portafilter. There are indents on the inside of the filter to show you how much coffee grounds to put in. Tamp the grinds down lightly with the back of your scoop.
- Insert the portafilter into the machine by placing it from the left and then turning it to lock it into place.
- Place your carafe on the drip tray. You will need to line up the slot on the carafe cover so that it fits around the portafilter.
- Turn the knob to brew. When your espresso finishes brewing, turn the know back to off.
- Enjoy your espresso as is, or use it to make your favorite coffee drink!
To clean your Mr. Coffee Steam Espresso Maker, allow it to cool. Remove the portafilter and flip the lock to hold the filter basket in place. Dump your used grounds in the trash, rinse and dry the filter basket and portafilter. Rinse your glass carafe and you’re done!
