First Impressions of the Mr. Coffee Steam Espresso Maker
- The owner’s manual needs improvement. I have tutorials on how to use this machine and pull the perfect shot of espresso that you will find much more helpful. - The machine is very easy to use. It does what it’s supposed to do.
- It’s easy to clean.
- Everything seems durable and well made except the tip on the frothing wand… I can see that tearing after repeatedly pulling it off to clean it. The good news is, you can use the machine without it.
- It does not come with a tamper or a frothing pitcher, but you can easily get by without them.
My Review of the Mr. Coffee Steam Espresso Maker
I really like this machine. After a little practice, I can make Starbucks quality coffee drinks at home, saving me a ton of money! I was disappointed that it didn’t come with a frothing pitcher, but have found that using an extra ceramic mug works just fine. There are definitely some tricks to using this machine, so be sure to check out my tutorials, Making Espresso and Steaming and Foaming Milk. I will probably buy a tamper and frothing pitcher eventually, but you can easily get by without them. I would definitely recommend this product to my friends and family.
